At VE Vascular, you will work as a research nurse in close collaboration with nurses, doctors, researchers/clinical trialists, and sponsors. Vascular research in Malmö, which belongs to VO Thoracic and Vascular, primarily involves research related to vascular diseases.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a research nurse with us, you will be involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical studies in vascular diseases. Clinical studies may also involve contact with patients and handling of blood samples. In this position, you will work as both a study coordinator and a research nurse, engaging in both ongoing and planned research projects.

Additionally, you may participate in performing statistical analyses and writing manuscripts. Parts of this work will be done independently and in collaboration with both internal and external members of the research team, including students and doctoral candidates.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or radiology nurse with authorization to work within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have language skills in Swedish that correspond to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's language scale. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is also required. Furthermore, you have completed a course in Good Clinical Practice.

It is desirable that you have professional experience as a nurse or radiology nurse. We want you to have experience in vascular research or a related field. Experience with radiological image management (PACS or 3-D software) is an advantage. Moreover, experience with externally (industry-) sponsored studies with dedicated eCRF is meritorious. Experience with Excel, Word, SPSS, GraphPad, and R Statistics is also advantageous.

To be suitable for the position, you appreciate working both in teams and independently. You enjoy a fast-paced job with varied tasks. Furthermore, you have a good ability to collaborate with different categories of staff. Personal suitability is of great importance.
