We are a stable and well-functioning unit with approximately 10,500 registered patients, operating in an area with a unique combination of multicultural urban life and Skåne's countryside. At the medical clinic, there are six specialists in general medicine and seven training doctors (ST, AT, and one BT doctor).

We are a multifaceted organization with clinics for district nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, and occupational therapists. We also have specialized nurse-led clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive impairment, and we offer targeted health talks. We have a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, elderly care clinic, lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone counseling and primary care triage, the initial care is smoothly handled by nurses with support from doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. In the waiting room, there is an interpreter and a service host.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of nurse/district nurse, you will work with tasks such as telephone counseling, taking care of acute patients, dressings, triaging, as well as medical administration and reception work. Of course, you will receive internal training based on your existing skills and areas of interest, all to best meet the needs of the patients.

With us, you will be part of a fantastic team of nurses and district nurses, where we are about fifteen colleagues who collaborate and exchange experiences. We strive to always maintain a team-oriented approach and are now continuing our improvement work to best meet our patients. Do you want to be part of it?

The working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend shifts may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, you must be a licensed nurse or a further trained district nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. Since the position involves travel, a valid B driver's license is also required. Education as a diabetes nurse and/or previous experience as a diabetes nurse is an advantage. Previous experience in primary care is also seen as beneficial.
