Assignment

We are looking for engaged and caring substitutes who are interested in working with the elderly to improve their daily lives and make it more meaningful. As a substitute in elderly care, you will be responsible for providing personal care, such as assistance with dressing, showering, and toilet visits. The work also includes social interaction and tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing. You will also perform certain health and medical tasks under the instruction and delegation of a nurse.

Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old before starting.
  • You have a strong interest in people and service.
  • You are able to handle digital equipment.
  • You have Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form as communication and documentation are part of the job.
  • In home care, you need to be able to cycle. Having a driver's license is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and can quickly adapt to changes, while also seeing opportunities in new situations. You are a team player, communicate clearly, and have the ability to understand and empathize with others' perspectives. With an empathetic and friendly approach, you handle others' feelings calmly. You enjoy helping others and always strive to find solutions that suit their individual needs. You are used to meeting people in various contexts and offer support in a responsive and helpful manner.

For positions that involve care work, a background check will be requested, which occurs at the end of the recruitment process. You need to request the extract yourself via the police's website: Check your own information (polisen.se) (https://polisen.se) The extract we want to see is called "Check of your own information in the criminal record." Please note that the normal processing time at the police can take several weeks, so order the extract now directly.

Working Hours/Duration/Salary

  • Work shifts occur during day/evening or night. Weekend work is included in all our operations.
  • The summer period runs from week 26-33. We also need substitutes before and after the summer.
  • Start date according to agreement.
  • Substitute positions full-time or part-time with scheduled shifts.
  • Individual salary setting applies.

Areas of Work and Shifts

  • Home Care: Assistance in the home that may include cooking, dressing, mobility assistance, shopping, and personal hygiene. You work independently and get around by bike or car. In home care, you work weekdays and weekends, either day and evening or night.
  • Special Accommodation: Care and supervision in the form of personal hygiene, meal preparation, mobility assistance, cleaning, laundry, and activities. In our accommodations, you work weekdays and weekends, either day and evening or night.
