Svedala Health Center is a private health center with a contract with Region Skåne, currently serving over 5000 registered patients and about 20 enthusiastic and motivated employees. We have a broad mission that includes both acute and planned visits, elderly care, and treatment and follow-up of chronic diseases. We will also open a Child Health Center (BVC) in January 2026.

Our team consists of specialist doctors in general medicine, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, physiotherapists, dietitians, and occupational therapists. We also have nurses with special expertise in diabetes, asthma, and COPD, which gives us good opportunities to provide structured and high-quality care for patients with chronic diseases. We have a close and good collaboration between professions and with the municipality. Our goal is to provide patients with safe, accessible, and high-quality care. We work on the principle that all patients should have a named primary care physician and very high continuity in this. We are eager to drive development forward regarding the use of new technology and new working methods, including the use of digital platforms.

We are growing and, together with Svedala Municipality, opened a family center in January 2026, which provides new opportunities for collaboration and further strengthens our work on preventive care and a holistic perspective for children and families.

The health center is centrally located in Svedala, within walking distance to the train station and with excellent commuting options from all over southern Skåne.

At the workplace, we strive to work cross-professionally in an open climate where everyone can have their say. The health center is open in the evenings two days a week and on all weekends and public holidays. The health center has a very present management team, and the decision-making paths are short.

About the job/Responsibilities

We are in an exciting development phase and are now looking for a licensed physician for a 6-month probationary employment. During your employment, you will have a primary supervisor with regular supervision time. The employment may lead to a ST position in general medicine.

As a ST physician with us, you will receive:

An individual training plan tailored to the goal description.

Opportunities for side training in relevant specialties in collaboration with hospital clinics.

About you/Qualifications

We welcome you who have Swedish medical license with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare and are eligible to start ST training in general medicine (completed AT or BT).

You have:

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, corresponding to at least C1 according to the European Council's level scale.

Genuine interest in general medicine and the breadth and holistic perspective of primary care.

We highly value personal qualities such as teamwork, responsibility, commitment, and a willingness to contribute to the development of the organization. You have a holistic view of both work and the patient and adapt easily to different circumstances. Furthermore, your work is characterized by being meticulous, structured, and having a flexible approach. Previous primary care experience is an advantage.

We expect you to be involved and proactive in improvement work and organizational development. We have come a long way in digital development with a modern work environment.

Scope: Full-time.

Working hours: weekdays 8-17

Employment type: Probationary employment for 6 months. Upon approval of ST training, a fixed-term employment associated with specialization training.
