Vilan Health Center serves approximately 6,900 registered patients and employs around 30 staff members. Here, a tight-knit team works with a focus on accessibility tailored to patient needs. Our center includes a general practitioner clinic, a district nurse clinic with specialized units for diabetes, asthma/COPD, elderly care, and a child health care center (BVC). Our phlebotomy unit employs assistant nurses who handle both internal and external blood sampling. Additionally, we provide advice and support to nursing homes and municipal home healthcare. We also have a well-developed rehabilitation unit with a physiotherapy clinic, dietician, counselor, and occupational therapist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our physiotherapists will be on parental leave, we are seeking a substitute for this period.

As a physiotherapist with us, you are often the patient's first point of contact with healthcare. Patients of all ages with various diagnoses visit our physiotherapy unit, such as injuries to the musculoskeletal system, neurological conditions, and psychosomatic complaints. Your task is to meet the patient's needs through examination, treatment, and prevention. We work evidence-based according to the physiotherapy process.

Treatment and preventive measures are carried out at both the individual and group levels. We offer group treatment through, among other things, an arthritis school and warm water pool training.

As a physiotherapist, you contribute to the patient's well-being and the development of the operation through collaboration with various healthcare providers, both internally and externally. You will work with an experienced colleague who can offer both continuous support and supervision.

At the health center, we have a non-hierarchical working style, which creates great security for the individual employee and the opportunity to provide the best care for our patients. We work in structured teams with scheduled question-and-answer sessions, creating good opportunities to receive support for all daily questions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you are a licensed physiotherapist with the authority to practice within the Swedish healthcare system. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement.
