We are seeking a certified nursing assistant (Undersköterska) for Home Care West 1, working daytime hours and every other weekend.

Working as a nursing assistant in home care means meeting our care recipients in their own homes. The work is practical, varied, and sometimes physical. You move between care recipients, often by bicycle or car, and assist with both care and services in the home.

The job requires that you can walk up and down stairs, bend, lift, and occasionally work in tight spaces. Heavier tasks may also occur, such as cleaning, carrying groceries, or assisting care recipients with transfers between bed and wheelchair.

You will follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothes, and maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards care recipients, colleagues, relatives, and others we meet in our work.

Here is what you will be working with:

• Assisting with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits
• Preparing or heating simple meals and serving food
• The role includes administering medication, which requires receiving delegation from licensed personnel
• Assisting with cleaning, laundry, bed-making, and waste sorting
• Making purchases and accompanying on errands
• Providing social support, conversation, and walks
• Documenting in digital systems and reporting according to SBAR to ensure high quality and safe care
• Collaborating with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists when needed
• Acting as a contact person or fixed care contact and planning how interventions will be carried out together with the individual

Who are you?

You are an educated nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish, both in reading, speaking, and writing. We prefer that you have experience in nursing care, but it is not a requirement. To get around the area, you need a B-class driver's license and the ability to ride a bicycle.

Within the Care Administration, we provide care, support, and assistance to elderly people, people with disabilities, or those needing home healthcare. We also offer health-promoting measures and support to people caring for and supporting a relative. Our goal is that those who need care and support in their daily lives can live as independently as possible.

Home Care West 1 is a home care group that currently consists of 42 employees. The group's office is centrally located, only a 3-minute walk from the central station. The geographical area we work in includes Hässleholm outskirts, Hassellunden, Sjörröd, and Vankiva.
