As a nurse assistant at our short-term care facility, you will work together with your colleagues to provide care tailored to the individual. We support our care recipients with personal care, daily rehabilitation, and social activation to create a meaningful everyday life. Our focus is that every person, to the best of their ability, should manage as much as possible on their own in order to be able to go home. We work in teams where we collaborate within and between teams and prioritize our work.

You follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothes, and maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards care recipients, colleagues, relatives, and other people we meet in our work.

This is what you will be working with:

• Assisting with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits, as well as support during meals.
• Being part of a flexible workplace with a rehabilitative approach where care needs change constantly.
• Working according to person-centered care where you adapt support to the individual's unique needs and wishes.
• The role includes administering medication, which means you need to receive delegation from licensed personnel. You may also need to take on other delegated HSL tasks.
• Supporting with daily chores such as cleaning, laundry, and small shopping in the local area.
• Participating in social activities, providing support and guidance.
• Documenting and staying up to date in digital systems. Writing clear records, documenting according to guidelines, and establishing and following implementation plans to ensure good quality and safe care.
• Collaborating with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, as well as cooperating with relatives.
• Following the workplace's routines and guidelines.
• Acting as a contact person and planning how interventions should be carried out together with the individual.

Who are you?

You are an educated nurse assistant. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish, both in reading, speaking, and writing. We would appreciate if you have experience from hospitals, home care, or dementia care, but it is not a requirement.

We value your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is secure, flexible, and takes responsibility for your own tasks. You have a good ability to collaborate and build relationships with a respectful and helpful attitude. You have an understanding of other people's needs and feelings.

• Before employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, which is done by showing that you have Swedish citizenship, citizenship within the EU/EEA/Switzerland, or a valid residence and/or work permit.

About us

Within the Care Administration, we provide care, support, and nursing to people who are elderly, have a disability, or need home healthcare. We also offer health-promoting measures and support to people who care for and support a relative. Our goal is that those who need care and nursing in their daily lives should be able to live an independent life as much as possible.

Högalidshemmet is a nursing home with a total of 26 apartments, divided into two wards with a somatic focus. The other three wards house the short-term care and alternating care. Högalidshemmet is located in Hässleholm, about a 10-minute walk from the station, but there are also good bus connections.
