We are a stable and well-functioning unit with approximately 10,500 registered patients, operating in an area with a unique combination of multicultural urban life and Skåne's countryside. At the medical clinic, there are six specialists in general medicine and seven training doctors (ST, AT, and one BT doctor).

We are a multifaceted organization with clinics for district nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, and occupational therapists. We also have specialized nurse-led clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive impairment, and we offer targeted health conversations. We have a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, elderly care clinic, lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone counseling and primary care triage, the initial handling is smoothly managed by nurses with support from doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. In the waiting room, there is an interpreter and a service host.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of nurse/district nurse, you will work with tasks such as telephone counseling, handling acute patients, wound care, triaging, as well as medical administration and clinic work. Naturally, you will receive internal training based on your existing skills and areas of interest, all to meet the patients' needs in the best possible way.

With us, you will be part of a fantastic team of nurses and district nurses, where we are about fifteen colleagues who collaborate and exchange experiences. We strive to always have a team-oriented approach and are now continuing our improvement work to meet our patients in the best way. Do you want to join us?

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend shifts may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, you must be a licensed nurse or further educated district nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Since travel is involved in the position, a valid B driver's license is also required. It is advantageous to have training as a diabetes nurse and/or previous experience working as a diabetes nurse. Previous experience in primary care is also seen as beneficial.
