The area of operation (VO) imaging and function at Skåne University Hospital constitutes a complete operation in the field with all modalities represented, including CT, MRI, PET, intervention, ultrasound, conventional equipment, and isotope operations. Here, high-quality and multifaceted research and development are conducted in collaboration with various actors. We base our work on professionalism, commitment, and teamwork. We have 750 employees and the area of operation spans across Malmö, Lund, and Trelleborg. Imaging and function conduct approximately 400,000 patient examinations annually, which means a strong focus on patient safety and quality issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This summer, we welcome new colleagues to us on temporary contracts with the possibility of extension.

As a radiology nurse with us, you will work with most radiological techniques and modalities. If you are new to the profession, you will receive a mentor and have supervisors who support you and work in your team.

You will perform the usual tasks as a radiology nurse, such as taking responsibility for the preparations for the patient and the equipment before, during, and after examinations. You will work in a team with other radiology nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors in the various modalities.

We have three elective units that are organ-divided for pediatric and skeletal radiology, gastrointestinal, thoracic and urology radiology, and neuro and dental radiology. Emergency radiology is our fourth unit with round-the-clock operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed radiology nurse (or have applied for and will soon receive a license) with the authority to operate within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is a requirement. This may also mean a passing grade in Swedish 3 or a passing grade in Swedish as a second language 3 or a passing result in a course in Swedish for non-Nordic students corresponding to 60 HP. Previous experience as a radiology nurse is an advantage.
