JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a confident and engaged occupational therapist? Do you want to work with a holistic perspective and quality in rehabilitation to make a real difference in people's daily lives?

As an occupational therapist at Landskrona Omsorg, you are responsible for promoting activity, participation, and independence among individuals with various disabilities within municipal care and support. The work involves assessing, planning, and implementing interventions that may include training, environmental adjustments, and assistive devices, as well as providing support and guidance to both the individual and their relatives. You collaborate closely with other professionals in care and support to create comprehensive solutions.

Your main job responsibilities include:

• Assessment and planning - Conduct activity and functional assessments and establish individual rehabilitation plans.
• Interventions and adjustments - Plan and implement rehabilitation interventions, trial and adjust assistive devices, and provide instructions for use.
• Collaboration and communication - Collaborate with internal teams and external actors to create a cohesive rehabilitation process.
• Support and guidance - Provide advice and support to care staff, relatives, and other caregivers to promote activity and participation.
• Documentation and quality assurance - Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up according to laws and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist who wants to work with people from an ethical and professional perspective.

You have education and/or experience in:

• Occupational therapy work within care and support
• Assessment, rehabilitation, and prescribing assistive devices
• Documentation and work in digital journal systems
• B driver's license for manual transmission

You may also have experience in:

• Work within municipal care
• Collaboration with other caregivers and actors
• Meeting different cultures and the cultural differences it entails

• Fluently speaks Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Is confident in your professional role and has a good demeanor
• Has good collaboration skills and easily creates good relationships
• Is solution-oriented, responsible, and structured
