About the Job

Fridagymnasiet started in the autumn of 2006 in Vänersborg with the vision of educating "train-hoppers".

Today, we offer programs in the Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Economics.

We are an independent high school that has designed its operations based on current research regarding pedagogy and our philosophy of learning.

Currently, we have about 225 students and are a school with high demand.

Here, there is a family-like atmosphere where everyone knows each other, including students, teachers, and all staff. For us, subjects, courses, interdisciplinary work, and the mentoring role are equally important ingredients for a sustainable operation.

We have steadily grown in recent years and offer both students and staff a calm, safe, and stimulating environment to develop and thrive in. Our premises are located in the beautiful Hagaparken in Vänersborg, and we provide a modern and appealing environment for teaching. You need to be interested in ICT, as our digital environment is heavily utilized by both students and staff.

The core idea of Fridaskolan is that the people who have chosen to work in the organization should constantly reflect on their responsibility and role within the organization. We expect you to be flexible, responsible, and creative. As an employee within Frida Education, you have a clear responsibility to actively contribute to creating a good working environment for development and learning.

We currently have a temporary position at 80% during the spring term of 2026, where we are looking for teachers qualified primarily in Natural Science, Geography, and sustainable community building. You will also be part of a team responsible for a mentoring group. The scope and duration of the temporary position are for the spring term of 2026, with a possible continuation into the autumn term of 2026.
