About Us

Mini-Maria is an integrated outpatient clinic for young people up to 21 years old with risky use, harmful use, or dependence on alcohol, drugs, or gambling.

Mini-Maria's mission is to be an easily accessible clinic where young people and their relatives can come for advice, support, and treatment, either on their own initiative or after referral. The service is operated in collaboration between municipalities and Regionhälsan. The medical staff comes from Regionhälsan and the psychosocial staff from the municipalities. In Fyrbodal, we have two main clinics, one in Trollhättan and one in Uddevalla. In addition, we have branch clinics in eight other municipalities.

About the Job

As a doctor, you will work in a multidisciplinary team with assessments, diagnostics, referrals, and consultations. The focus is on young people with risky use, often in combination with mild mental health issues. In cases of comorbidity or established addiction, the young person will be referred for further help.

About You

We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine or psychiatry. Other relevant specialist training may also be considered. Furthermore, we expect you to have a good understanding of young people's biological and psychological development. Experience in psychiatry and addiction issues, as well as working with youth and young adults, is an advantage.

As a person, you enjoy working in outpatient care and are flexible, engaged, and interested in contributing to the development of the service. You appreciate working in a team and find it easy to collaborate and communicate. A professional attitude towards both patients and colleagues is a natural part of your work approach.

Conditions

The employment rate is 20%, but it may be increased if the position is combined with duties at the youth clinic. The work takes place at several clinics in at least two different locations - Uddevalla and Trollhättan. Additional travel to surrounding municipalities may be required as needed.
