Your Responsibilities

The position includes teaching, course administration, supervision, and examination within programs and courses in nursing science with a focus on anesthesia. Additionally, it includes teaching at the undergraduate level within the general nursing area, both in theoretical courses and in clinical placements. The work involves linking research and developing courses at both basic and advanced levels, as well as conducting your own research in the field. The role also includes collaboration with representatives from the profession, participation in assessment discussions during students' clinical placements, as well as supervision and examination of thesis work. In collaboration with the profession, the role of clinical lecturer will be included in the position.

Your Qualifications

For the position, you are required to have a doctoral degree in nursing science or a corresponding field. You need to have a nursing degree, Swedish nursing license, and a specialist nursing degree in anesthesia. It is also a requirement that you have professional experience as an anesthetist nurse.

You should be able to demonstrate pedagogical skills and have the ability for clear communication, as well as good knowledge of Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.

Furthermore, documented good collaboration skills are expected, while you also need to be able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks within the framework of the role.

Meritorious:

• Demonstrated interest in research related to the anesthetist nurse's area of responsibility.
• Specialist nursing degree in emergency care and/or ambulance care
• Professional experience as a nurse in emergency care and/or ambulance care

A general eligibility requirement for permanent employment as a teacher is completed higher education pedagogical training equivalent to 10 weeks of full-time studies, or equivalent competence. An employee who lacks higher education pedagogical training can undergo the training during the first two years of employment.
