About the Department

We are an emergency care department (Ward 239 Mölndal) where we care for patients from the emergency room as well as directly from the ambulance.

Currently, we have 16 care places divided between internal medicine and stroke/TIA places. Our unique workplace with different focuses offers the opportunity for a very broad competence. You will gain specialized skills in emergency care for stroke patients, while we also have medical patients who are investigated and treated for many different conditions. With both patient groups, we work in teams together with both doctors and rehabilitation staff to create good care and jointly investigate the patient's symptoms and complaints to reach a diagnosis.

What do we offer?

You will receive continuous development and training in your role. Training in medicine and stroke is offered to stay updated in both areas. We have lectures for staff every week to constantly develop and gain broader knowledge.

We offer mentorship for assistant nurses to support and facilitate in the new role. We are courageous and our working methods are not set in stone; we welcome innovative thinking and are happy to continuously develop the department and appreciate new ideas and engaged employees.

We aim to have training together during work hours every week, which has been a popular feature of the workday.

About You

We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse. It is advantageous if you have experience in stroke care.
