The Health and Elderly Administration is one of the largest administrations in Borås City. Our healthcare organization consists of approximately 300 employees distributed across ten healthcare teams. We work in a team-based and interdisciplinary manner with the patient's best interest in focus.
Are you a licensed occupational therapist? Now you have the chance to become one of us! Here you will have the opportunity to grow in your role, whether you are newly graduated and looking for your first job as a licensed professional or if you have been working in the field for a while.
We in HSV Team 1 have our patients in and around Norrby and Sandhult. We operate from nice premises on Trandögatan, which we share with two other HSV teams.
With us, you will have a fun, developing, and meaningful job alongside engaged colleagues and a management that strives for a good work environment, job satisfaction, and team spirit.
Right now, we are working with a changed working method in the transition to Close Care with the patient's participation in focus. The rehabilitation process and welfare technology are other current areas. Development also occurs in collaboration with care neighbors and other actors, as well as through team meetings and continuous follow-up of the work environment for employees. With us, you will help develop the future of municipal healthcare!
Occupational Therapist Wanted for the Norrby/Sandhult Area in Borås CityJob ResponsibilitiesYou will work clinically, investigating, assessing, and implementing occupational therapy interventions. As a licensed practitioner, you are responsible for documenting the interventions that are planned, implemented, and evaluated. You are also responsible for prescribing and testing assistive devices. It is also part of the clinical assignment to guide nursing staff in various care situations, such as during transfers and in the handling of assistive devices.
The well-being and participation of our patients are always a central starting point in our work, and building good relationships is an important part of the assignment. As an occupational therapist, you will work closely with other professionals such as physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, care managers, supervisors, and nursing staff working in home care, at our care and nursing homes, or in our short-term units. Dialogue with relatives is also a natural part of your workday.
We work Monday to Friday. The job offers you good opportunities to plan and structure your workday based on the needs of the organization and in dialogue with your colleagues. You also have good opportunities to follow the results of your patients' rehabilitation over time in their home environment.
When you start your employment, you will receive an individually tailored introduction that provides you with good conditions and a safe and stable start to your new assignment. We also offer contact with a mentor once you have completed your introduction, as we know that the opportunity to turn to an experienced and knowledgeable occupational therapist for advice and support is appreciated.
Additional InformationWe look forward to getting to know you and sharing your commitment, competence, and ideas to provide our patients with the best possible care, now and in the future.
In addition to meaningful work tasks, good collegial community, and good working conditions, you as an employee in Borås City are offered several employee benefits.
