RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a companion for an 8-year-old boy. As a companion, your role is to accompany him to and from activities outside the home, such as playing in the park, visiting green areas, walking, having coffee, or going to the movies. As a companion, you enable social contacts and leisure activities under safe conditions.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in doing something for others. You base your work on the individual's needs and interests and adapt to situations. You are relationship-building and collaborative. To thrive in your role, it is important that you see each person and understand how important you are in contributing to a meaningful everyday life. It is important that you are cooperative, inventive, self-assured, and have great patience, as this creates security in your role as a companion.

QUALIFICATIONS

Personal suitability is of utmost importance. To be suitable for the role, we believe you are attentive, empathetic, driven, and service-minded. You should be able to create contacts and maintain relationships. You have an empathetic ability and can put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation.

We are looking for a person who enjoys socializing with others, is interested in how others feel, and has a stable and secure life situation. It is an advantage if you have some form of experience in care and support or similar education.
