The job involves preventing and managing risks by monitoring premises, patrolling areas, and ensuring that security procedures are followed. You contribute each shift to creating safety and security for the customer and society at large, as your work provides preventive protection against crime, improved fire safety, and much more. You will meet all members of society, and it is important that you are clear, calm, and able to make thoughtful decisions.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you need to meet basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• be of legal age before starting service
• high school diploma
• good Swedish in speech and writing
• driver's license B

You also need to be without a criminal record*, drug-free, have an organized economy, and good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security.

Security guard training is an advantage for these positions. Other advantageous qualifications include experience in the security industry, certain technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and you proceed in the process but do not already have the required training (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA, the Security Industry's Occupational and Work Environment Board. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.
