In the role of Safety and Preparedness Coordinator, you belong to the operational area of Operational Support, which is an important cog in the Social Office's work. Job Responsibilities
As a Safety and Preparedness Coordinator, you coordinate and drive the overall safety work within the Social Office. There are corresponding functions in other offices in the municipality that you collaborate with, but within the Social Office, you are the main responsible for issues related to safety and preparedness.
You have close cooperation with the Safety and Security Department in Norrköping municipality and work both operationally and strategically. You also collaborate closely with managers and other support functions within the office.
An important part of the role is to spread knowledge, support, and strengthen our managers in matters related to safety and preparedness. You do this by pedagogically producing materials, educating, and leading exercises to strengthen the office's resilience.
You actively work with planning, implementation, and documentation. You have experience working with risk and vulnerability analyses, continuity plans, and other overarching plans and strategies.
Another part of the assignment is to monitor legal requirements and keep both yourself and the organization updated on the situation locally, nationally, and internationally.
In the role, you work to identify, minimize, and prevent risks within the Social Office's area of responsibility and to act and follow up on any incidents. We offer a varied position that suits you who thrive in a flexible work environment where no day is the same.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education focused on safety work and/or crisis preparedness, such as vocational training in the field, university education, police exam, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
You have previous experience working in the safety and preparedness field and have accumulated valuable experiences that will be useful in this role. Your communication skills are one of your strengths, both verbally and in writing. This facilitates the work of producing documents, writing risk and vulnerability analyses, and formulating strategies – something we would like to see you have done in previous assignments.
Your knowledge of safety work is very good, and you keep yourself updated in the field. If you also have experience from social care, we see it as an advantage, as it provides a good understanding of the context you will be working in.

You have the ability to make well-balanced decisions based on current conditions and available information. You are flexible and can easily adapt when work requires it.
You enjoy collaborating with others but also have the drive to work independently and goal-oriented. You are eager to initiate new professional relationships and networks, both within and outside the municipal organization. You have a good ability to adapt your communication to the audience, both in speech and writing.
The position is classified in a security class and the employment is preceded by a security review according to the Security Protection Act.
A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
