Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand centers, and client transport.

Employees in the section are located at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's headquarters in Norrköping or at one of the regional offices. For this position, you will need to be present in Norrköping periodically, but most of the work can be performed at regional offices in Malmö or Stockholm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work is primarily conducted through the authority's regular operational processes, where information security and security protection are included as mandatory elements, which means you will be part of a team with extensive contacts with other operational areas within the authority. Your tasks include participating in the development and management of governing documents and processes, as well as further developing the authority's work in the area.

Your role includes providing ongoing support to the organization and conducting training in information security and security protection.

You will work on ensuring that personal data processing complies with applicable regulations, collaborating with the legal department on data protection issues, and providing support and advice to the operations. The role requires you to stay updated on legislation and regulations and to have a good ability for both internal and external collaboration.

Additional tasks in the areas of information security and security protection may be added.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and self-aware. You enjoy collaborating with others and have the ability to build trust, establish, and maintain contacts. Your tasks include participating in the management and development of the authority's information security management system (LIS).

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in, for example, law, computer science, or political science, or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Experience working with information and/or IT security issues
• Good ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Basic knowledge of data protection legislation

It is advantageous if you have:

• Post-secondary education in information security
• Training in data protection (GDPR)
• Training in signal protection
• Training in security protection and security protection analysis.
• Experience working with data protection according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
• Experience with similar tasks within or in collaboration with a government agency
• Experience leading smaller projects
• Experience giving presentations to small groups of employees
• Experience collaborating internally and externally
• Experience working with security protection analyses
• Experience working with IT security issues
• Good knowledge and experience of the standards ISO 27001 and 27002
