About the job as a buyer:

As a buyer with us at Jefferson Wells, at our client Siemens Energy in Finspång, you will become a central part of their Project Procurement organization. You will be responsible for your own supplier base and work both strategically and operationally with procurement. The role involves many contact points - both internally and externally - and you will be an important part of a team with both junior and senior colleagues. You will work according to established routines but also handle urgent matters, solve problems, and drive improvements in the supply chain.

Common tasks include:

• Negotiate project-specific purchases based on agreed terms and price lists.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, procurement policies, and processes.
• Build and develop supplier relationships and structure communication.
• Follow up and ensure suppliers' delivery precision.
• Work closely with other functions on procurement-related issues.
• Identify and drive improvement work within procurement and supply chain.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders.
• Communicate any delivery issues that may affect operations.
• Actively participate in the company's digitalization journey.

The candidate we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role with many contact points and who wants to contribute to effective and qualitative procurement work. You are analytical, communicative, and have an easy time building good relationships with both colleagues and suppliers. To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, solution-oriented, and able to prioritize in a changing environment.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in procurement or a similar role.
• Has good communication skills and is skilled in negotiation.
• Is analytical and has good problem-solving skills.
• Can work independently and achieve set goals.
• Has commercial and financial understanding.
• Is flexible and thrives in a changing business.
• Has experience with SAP.
• Can express themselves fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
