Your Responsibilities
As a Project Buyer within Siemens Energy's Project Procurement organization, you will be responsible for purchasing within the framework of projects and be a central function in the supply chain. You will be part of an engaged team with both junior and senior colleagues, where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement are a natural part of everyday life. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with both internal functions and external suppliers worldwide.
You will work according to established processes but also handle more complex and time-critical issues. Your tasks include, among others:
Negotiating and managing project-specific purchase orders based on established terms, price lists, and contracts
Ensuring compliance with the company's purchasing policies, guidelines, and procedures
Managing and further developing supplier relationships and ensuring structured and professional communication
Monitoring delivery precision and managing delivery deviations that may affect operations
Working closely with projects, engineering, logistics, and other purchasing functions
Driving and participating in improvement work within purchasing processes and supply chain
Preparing and administering purchase orders in SAP
Actively contributing to Siemens Energy's digital transformation journey
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with experience in purchasing who thrives in an international and changing environment. You are used to taking responsibility for your supplier base and have a good understanding of both commercial and financial aspects of purchasing work.
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
Have a good ability to build and develop long-term relationships with both colleagues and suppliers
Are communicative, confident in negotiations, and have a good ability to influence and collaborate
Are analytical, solution-oriented, and structured with the ability to prioritize and achieve set goals
Are flexible and adaptable to changing business and customer needs
Have experience working in SAP
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
