Buyer – Siemens Energy, Finspång
Do you want to work in a dynamic and development-focused environment where both professional and personal growth are prioritized? Siemens Energy is now looking for a driven Buyer for Project Procurement in Finspång. Here you will work in an international environment with both tactical and operational purchasing issues – and become an important part of the company's continued success.
About the position
As a Buyer at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for your own supplier base and act as a central contact point within the supply chain. The role involves both daily routines and more urgent matters where you are expected to find solutions and drive issues forward.
You will have both internal contact points and daily dialogue with suppliers globally. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure high quality in the purchasing process and contribute to developing methods and improvements in the supply chain.
The team currently consists of ten Buyers and one Procurement Planner – a mix of junior and senior colleagues with a strong team spirit and close collaboration with several internal interfaces.
Your responsibilities
In the role of Buyer, you will among other things:
- Negotiate project-specific purchase orders based on agreed terms and price lists
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, purchasing policies, and processes
- Build and develop relationships with suppliers
- Follow up and ensure suppliers' delivery precision
- Work closely with internal teams in purchasing-related processes
- Identify and drive improvement opportunities in the supply chain
- Prepare, create, and administer purchase orders
- Manage and communicate any delivery deviations that affect operations
- Actively participate in the company's digitalization journey
About you

Requirements
- Experience in purchasing or a similar role within the supply chain
- Very good ability to build relationships with both colleagues and suppliers
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize, work against deadlines, and achieve set goals
- Commercial and financial understanding
- Adaptable to changing demands and needs
- Experience with SAP
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Preferred
- Experience in purchasing in an international environment
