We are now looking for an experienced Project Buyer for an assignment within Project Procurement in Finspång. The role is central to project deliveries and involves overall responsibility for purchasing towards a defined supplier base, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and global suppliers.

About the role

As a Project Buyer, you are responsible for driving project purchasing in line with established agreements, terms, and price lists. You act as a coordinating link between supply chain, project organization, and suppliers, focusing on delivery precision, compliance, and continuous improvements.

Responsibilities and duties

• Manage and develop an assigned supplier base
• Negotiate project-specific purchase orders according to applicable terms, agreements, and pricing structures
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, processes, and compliance requirements
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships with formalized and structured communication
• Create, administer, and follow up on purchase orders in SAP
• Ensure delivery performance and manage deviations in the supply chain
• Identify, communicate, and escalate delivery risks that may impact the business
• Handle urgent matters and drive problem-solving in close collaboration with relevant parties
• Contribute to continuous improvements within purchasing and supply chain processes
• Actively participate in the organization's digitization and transformation initiatives

Qualifications and experience

• Experience in project purchasing, procurement, or strategic purchasing
• Solid negotiation skills and experience in supplier management
• Good understanding of supply chain flows and interfaces
• Experience working in SAP
• Good knowledge of purchasing compliance and governing regulations
• Strong problem-solving ability and capability to handle time-pressured situations
• Experience or interest in digitization and process development
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
