As a Merchant KYC Analyst, you are responsible for ensuring effective and risk-based processes for onboarding and ongoing customer due diligence of corporate clients. You work with both new and existing merchants and make independent assessments of risk, business models, ownership structures, and transaction flows in accordance with applicable regulations. The role requires high accuracy, good judgment, and the ability to handle complex corporate structures in a regulatory context.

You own your cases from start to finish, document clear risk assessments, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders within commercial teams, compliance, legal, and technology.

In this role, you will conduct CDD for new corporate clients and manage ongoing due diligence for existing merchants. You review and verify customer documentation using both internal and external data sources and analyze business models, ownership and control structures, and flows of funds. The work also includes sanctions and PEP screening, enhanced due diligence, and review of adverse media. You ensure that customer profiles are updated and accurate and escalate identified risks as needed. When necessary, you will also engage in dialogue with internal teams and directly with merchants.

You have at least three years of experience in corporate or institutional KYC/CDD and are accustomed to working in regulated environments such as banking, payments, or financial services. You have a good understanding of EU regulatory requirements and feel confident making risk-based decisions. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and responsible, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your cases. You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
