Vision is looking for an HR Generalist
Vision is a modern and growing trade union in constant change, and we continue to increase our union strength. Vision's members lead, develop, and administer welfare and work in municipalities, regions, private companies, or the church. Our 218,000 members are spread across the country and within thousands of different professions, forming a valuable network together. We are a feminist organization, politically independent, and part of TCO.
Do you want to help build the workplace of the future – for real?
Vision is growing in union strength and development. To continue achieving our goals, we want to provide our managers and operations with an even stronger, more proactive, and operationally close HR support. Therefore, we are now looking for another HR Generalist to join our dedicated HR team.
With us, you will work in an organization that genuinely wants to be a Workplace of the Future – where work environment, trust, and development are not just words, but something we work on every day. Here, you should be able to be yourself, feel good when you go to work, and feel satisfied when you go home.
About the role
As an HR Generalist at Vision, you will have a broad, varied, and meaningful assignment where you work closely with managers and operations. You will be both a strategic and operational support throughout the entire HR cycle – from recruitment and onboarding to labor law, work environment, and organizational development.
The role suits you who enjoy switching between different types of questions, often within the same day, and who like to combine structure with development, and professionalism with a clear service focus.
You will be part of the HR team, which currently consists of an HR manager, two HR generalists, and an HR officer. Together, we support about 30 managers in the office. We work closely together, share knowledge generously, and believe that we become better together.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide operational HR support to managers on issues such as labor law, recruitment, onboarding, rehabilitation, change management, work environment, and conflict management.
- Drive and develop HR processes, such as within salary & benefits, recruitment, and onboarding/offboarding.
- Contribute to development and improvements through digitization, automation, and the use of AI – and if necessary, also in the work with culture, values, and leadership.
We are looking for someone who:
You have an academic education or equivalent, preferably in HR, behavioral science, or organization and leadership, as well as at least 3–5 years of experience in broad and operationally close HR work. You are confident in supporting managers and used to taking responsibility for issues from need to implementation.
We particularly see that you have:
- Good knowledge of salary policy issues and salary processes (e.g., salary policy, salary review, and salary mapping).
- Experience in competency-based recruitment as well as onboarding/offboarding.
- Experience in change management, digitization, and driving development initiatives within HR.
- Experience in union collaboration and dialogue with stakeholders.
As a person, you are good at collaborating, communicative, and skilled at building trust. You are driven, solution-oriented, proactive, and structured, and you enjoy both collaboration and working independently. You are digitally savvy, have a good overall perspective, and like to contribute to development – both for the organization and for the people in it.
Experience with Flex HRM and/or working in a values-driven organization is a plus.
Why you should choose Vision:
- You will work in newly renovated premises in central Stockholm, designed with a focus on work environment, focus, and recovery.
- We have a strong HR policy, high ambitions in work environment, and a genuine commitment to our employees' well-being.
- We are an organization that wants to be at the forefront and dares to try new things.
- With us, the values of courage, trust, inclusion, and making each other better are alive in everyday life.
Our office is our primary workplace, and remote work is possible when the operations allow. Vision is a workplace for everyone.
