What does the role entail?

As a Product Developer with us, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products continue to be top-notch in terms of taste, freshness, and texture. You drive innovation and turn ideas into finished products. You will have the opportunity to influence what ends up on our dining tables.

The position involves a varied and creative role where you work closely with our bakeries, our raw material suppliers, and our internal teams. Among other things, you will:

• Be the source of new ideas and creativity in the development of new products (including assessing their potential for industrial production).
• Explore and evaluate new knowledge about raw materials and how they can improve our products.
• Work cross-functionally with mills, bakeries, technology, purchasing, and quality.
• Lead projects related to our products – from raw material to finished product.
• Document development work and create product calculations.
• Participate in forums and collaborations where product quality and raw materials are in focus.
• Stay updated on baking trends and news.

The position is full-time, based at our headquarters/bakery in Malmö. You will be part of a team of 14 people and report to our Head of Product Management & Development. The role involves occasional planned trips to our mills, the bakery in Gothenburg, and our various suppliers.

Who are you?

You are a curious, engaged person with a passion for baking, food, flavor, and raw materials. The most important thing is your drive and willingness to develop our products. We have the opportunity to adapt the role and are therefore looking for both those with solid food industry experience and great knowledge of baking and those with just a few years of experience and a strong interest in baking.

Qualifications

We would like you to have:

• Solid experience in baking – professionally or privately.
• We believe you have an education in natural sciences, e.g., food technology, biotechnology/food engineering, agronomy, or similar.
• Experience in product development (experience in the food industry is highly meritorious).
• Experience in project management.
• Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English.

As a person, you are primarily creative, curious, proactive, solution-oriented, flexible, and unpretentious. You easily see the big picture but also have an eye for detail. Furthermore, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can navigate change.
