ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are now looking for a driven technical project manager who wants to take overall responsibility for our client's new production line. In this role, you will plan, execute, and follow up on technical projects from feasibility study to implementation and handover. You will drive, lead, and coordinate technical projects in areas such as production, process development, automation, and facility improvements, focusing on ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Furthermore, it is important not to compromise on quality; you will ensure that projects meet high quality and food safety standards. You will also conduct risk analyses and be a key player in developing the company's investment plan, including prioritizations.

You will start your journey as the sole responsible for the project but will eventually have the opportunity to build your own team and advance to lead larger projects in the future. Your communication skills will be crucial, as you will act as a link between technology, production, IT, quality, purchasing, and external suppliers.

Examples of tasks:

  • Develop technical specifications and requirements for equipment, processes, and automation solutions.
  • Ensure that the project complies with relevant regulations regarding food safety, work environment, and hygiene.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, timelines, and status reports.
  • Coordinate installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
  • Initiate and drive improvement projects focusing on efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

  • Have a Master's/Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, food technology, automation, industrial economics, or similar.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in process-oriented manufacturing.
  • Have experience with automation (PLC).
  • Have good computer skills and proficiency in Excel and CAD.
  • Are fluent in Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • A background in food.
  • Documented experience working with standards such as HACCP, FSSC22000.

Furthermore, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, where we are looking for someone with a strong technical interest, who is responsible and structured. You are communicative and have the ability to explain technical aspects in an easily understandable way. We also see that you are creative in your thinking and have a clear solution-oriented approach.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will be employed by us at Friday, but the ambition is that you will eventually be employed by the company.
