Asbest-Ident performs analyses of asbestos presence in building materials, and our clients are mainly found within the remediation, construction, and real estate industries. The company is in an expansive phase, and we are now looking for an additional employee to strengthen our team.

In your role, you will primarily administer and analyze samples through ocular microscopic assessment. Additionally, you will be responsible for receiving customers, handling administrative tasks such as invoicing, purchasing, etc., as well as performing various simpler tasks.

An important part of the job is to collaborate with the office manager, other laboratory colleagues, and the sales/customer manager, as well as to contribute to the development of our services and ongoing improvement efforts within the company.

The position may also involve short business trips to our labs in Örebro and Umeå.

We prefer that you are meticulous with a good eye for detail in analysis work, reliable, service-oriented, progress-focused, and flexible, that you express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish, and have good computer skills.

We also believe that you enjoy working independently while being social, thriving in a group, and happily meeting colleagues and customers in a creative and collaborative spirit.

Experience mainly from laboratory environments and microscopy (optical, SEM-EDS), but also from the construction industry, is highly meritorious. A B driver's license is a requirement.

Other

The position is permanent at 100%, and we may apply a 6-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.

Your employment begins with internal training partially located in Umeå under the guidance of Eva, the laboratory manager for Asbest-Ident. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Asbest-Ident Sweden AB has been around since 2013 and has its headquarters and lab in Umeå, where we serve clients in Norrland as well as the rest of Sweden.
