Your Role

We are now looking for an engaged colleague who wants to take on product management of complex products and who is motivated by leadership, collaboration, and understanding how businesses are built.

You will be part of a team of product managers within submarines working with the entire product lifecycle of submarines and submarine rescue. You will work closely with our customers as well as other parts of our organization.

To be successful in this role, we believe you:

• Prefer to work on building teams and customer relationships and coordinate activities to best manage the product throughout its lifecycle.
• Actively lead the work on changes in the product, including business relationships with customers.
• Ensure that development plans for the product align with future capability needs.
• Take responsibility for tasks being completed on time and with high quality.
• Possess excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

You will report to the Head of Product Management within the Business Unit Submarine. Your location will be at our office in Lund, with regular travel primarily to Karlskrona. There may also be travel abroad in connection with our export campaigns.

Your Profile

You have a good understanding of submarines and their context, as well as preferably experience in product management or development projects. You take responsibility for product management with passion and energy, acting for the greater good by being a role model. We believe you are an experienced leader from a technical industry, preferably within the defense sector, who is passionate about both operational and strategic work. You have the ability to motivate others to participate in changes and can challenge the status quo in an appropriate manner.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
