We are looking for a junior systems engineer to a multidisciplinary engineering team that develops and integrates systems for vehicle propulsion and support functions. The role is suitable for you who are early in your career and want to build experience in systems work, technology integration, and working in complex development environments with many interfaces.

You will be part of the work throughout the development process, from concept to delivery, in close collaboration with experienced engineers, project managers, and suppliers.

• Support system design and development of systems for propulsion, power transmission, and auxiliary systems.
• Participate in the integration of subsystems such as engines, gearboxes, propellers, and control systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, requirements specifications, interfaces, and test plans.
• Conduct simpler analyses, simulations, and risk assessments.
• Participate in supplier contacts, procurement processes, and testing activities such as FAT, HAT, and SAT.
• Contribute to the improvement of processes, methods, and tools, and share knowledge with colleagues.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, marine, or systems engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in systems work, product development, or technical integration.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control engineering subsystems.
• Familiarity with classification rules, requirements management, and technical standards.
• Experience with or familiarity in working with technical tools such as AVEVA Suite, KabDoc, CREO, IBM DOORS4.5, and MS Office.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license B (or equivalent within the EU).
• Ability to undergo and be approved in a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted).

• Experience from marine, energy, or defense-related environments.
