Backer AB is part of the Swedish publicly traded heating group NIBE Industrier and employs approximately 400 people in the development, manufacturing, and sales of intelligent solutions for electric heating and energy regulation. We operate at two locations in Sweden, Sösdala in Skåne and Kolbäck in Västmanland. Backer AB in Sösdala is located a 5-minute walk from the Pågatåg station.

The unit in Sösdala also serves as the headquarters for the NIBE Element business area, which encompasses approximately 80 units located in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North and Central America. Our solutions are delivered to customers across various industries and serve as an essential part, either in our customers' finished products or in their manufacturing processes. The demands on our solutions are high, and several of our customers are considered leaders in their respective segments. Our long-term strategy is to manufacture world-class sustainable energy solutions and thereby contribute to the transition towards a more sustainable society and reduced carbon footprint. We are looking for a committed and self-driven production technician who wants to help develop our production. In this role, you will work closely with production, design, and planning to create efficient, safe, and sustainable production processes.

Your main responsibilities:

• Prepare production for new articles and implement changes in the process
• Conduct time and method studies and create and update work instructions
• Analyze and improve the production process
• Work on improvement initiatives such as 5S and lean
• Participate in and drive improvement projects within quality, safety, and productivity
• Support production with technical and process-related questions

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a technical interest and an analytical mindset
• Is curious, unpretentious, and enjoys solving problems
• Has relevant education and/or experience in production
• Has experience with time and method studies (meritorious)
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently
