Job Description

AFRY has successfully supported energy producers, electricity distributors, and industries for many years.

The energy market is currently experiencing its largest growth since Sweden was electrified, and the need for reinvestments and expansions of the electricity grids is significant in the coming years. At AFRY Grid Integration South, we are about 35 consultants in southern Sweden who are involved in building the future's power supply.

Our Power Group offers you developing tasks as a Group Manager in a very pleasant and knowledgeable team. Together, we have a broad and deep competence in power engineering that allows us to help both our clients and each other to succeed and develop. We see a great need for our services and have many interesting projects underway. With us, we work with:

• Investigation
• Design
• Construction
• Project Management

We also have assignments in other power-related areas such as selective plans, lightning protection, network calculations, and inspections.

As a group manager, you are responsible for creating a safe and stable team, developing our service offerings to our clients, and contributing to the unit's growth. The role involves full personnel responsibility as well as attracting new employees and working on your own assignments.

The position offers great freedom to shape and drive your group. You will be part of the section's management team and collaborate with other managers in an environment characterized by trust and joy at work. The work primarily takes place at our office in Lund.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to create and maintain many good relationships with employees, clients, and colleagues. There are several points of contact, and good relationships are seen as the best foundation for building trust with clients and providing others in the group with the best conditions for success.

Equally important for the role is your result focus. You need to be able to translate goals into concrete actions and work in a structured way to achieve them. It’s about keeping direction, creating engagement, and following up in a way that builds trust and adds business value.

At the same time, you need to be flexible and solution-oriented. When conditions change, you can quickly adapt to find smooth paths forward.

Must-have requirements:

• Experience working in the energy sector
• Experience in a leadership position such as project manager or assignment manager
• You write and speak fluently in both Swedish and English as both languages are frequently used within AFRY and with our clients
• Driving license and access to a car

Desirable:

• Experience in the electricity grid sector.
• Experience in a managerial role with budget and personnel responsibility
• Experience in sales and bidding work
• Experience working as a consultant/entrepreneurial experience
