QC Specialist Wanted at Meribel Pharma Solutions in Höganäs

Meribel Pharma Solutions in Höganäs is looking for an experienced QC Specialist.

Our facility in Höganäs specializes in the manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical products in the form of powder mixtures and granules. We are specialized in sachet and stick filling and offer a wide range of technologies including primary and secondary packaging, serialization, and aggregation.

Meribel Pharma in Höganäs is now recruiting an experienced QC Specialist.

As a QC Specialist, you will be our main contact with external laboratories. You find it exciting to take on different types of tasks within the QC/QA department and enjoy a dynamic work environment collaborating with people from different parts of the company and with external laboratories and suppliers. It comes naturally for you to interact with production personnel, gain knowledge about the site’s manufacturing processes, and conduct valuable exchanges of experiences.

Your main tasks are:

• Be the primary contact person for external labs
• Lead and support work to qualify raw materials, reduce analytical testing, and qualify external laboratories
• Handling and investigation of Out of Specifications, Deviations, and CAPAs.
• Support with analytical methods, both according to pharmacopeia and in-house methods
• Lead and support in cleaning validation activities
• Establish and revise procedures, specifications, and analytical methods
• Establishment of Product Quality Reviews (PQRs)
• Handle sampling of raw materials, bulk, and finished products including sending them to labs and receiving and documenting results
• Environmental and hygiene controls
• Participate in various projects as a QC/QA representative

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or similar, e.g., BMA.
• Has a minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience, preferably within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Has experience working with and according to pharmacopeia.
• As a person, you are driven, structured, service-oriented, and a good communicator.
• You have an easy time collaborating with others and the ability to create and further develop good relationships, as well as to create commitment and participation. Communication with suppliers and partners from all over the world means that it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.

The position is a permanent position. The working hours are daytime with flextime.
