Do you want to be part of developing one of Malmö's most interesting property portfolios? The Church of Sweden Malmö manages and develops a comprehensive portfolio of properties ranging from parish halls and commercial premises to churches and other culturally significant buildings. Our goal is to create sustainable, functional, and value-creating solutions that meet both future needs and operational requirements. As a property developer, you will be a key person in identifying development opportunities and ensuring that our premises support the parish's activities. The role requires close collaboration with internal operations to understand needs and translate them into strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Identify development opportunities in the property portfolio (e.g., renovations, densification, sales, or rentals).

  • Conduct market analyses, calculations, and investment assessments that form the basis for strategic decisions.

  • Ensure that projects are profitable and aligned with the parish's goals.

  • Manage contacts with authorities, detailed plans, and building permits.

  • Administer, follow up, and negotiate lease and rental agreements.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education in property development, real estate economics, construction technology, or similar.

  • Experience in strategic property development and business analysis.

  • Good knowledge of property law, calculations, and market assessments.

  • Understanding of planning processes, sustainability issues, and cultural environments.

  • Driving license (B) and good IT skills.

Information about the position

Employment type: Permanent, with a 6-month probationary period. Work degree: Full-time. Start date: By agreement. Application deadline: 2026-02-10, interviews will be conducted continuously.
