JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who wants to work with varied and current issues related to animal health care.
Your main task will be to have a central and coordinating role in the work concerning supervision in animal health care, which today consists of three areas: animal health personnel, care providers, and animal keepers' handling of medications. The role includes participating in forums where these issues are discussed, both internally and externally with other authorities and industry actors.
The work involves, among other things, preparing surveys for each control year, evaluating and analyzing completed supervision, and developing, updating, and managing guidelines. The work also includes, based on analyses and results, developing our supervision work and the support we provide to the county administrative boards and other actors.
You will also work on other tasks that your team has, which may include answering questions from our customers, processing cases, and working on tasks of a more investigative nature. The questions that the team is responsible for concern animal health care. Together, the team is responsible for the tasks and helps each other to solve them in the best way.
As an employee, you take great responsibility for your tasks and for planning the work and adhering to deadlines. We want you to be involved in our development work and contribute in a constructive and initiative-taking manner. We work in teams, and the team consists of experienced colleagues with different competencies who help you get started and develop in your work.
Since the tasks may require you to participate in various meetings, you should be able to travel for work, which may involve about 3-4 trips per year.
The position means that you may work in the crisis organization of the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
QUALIFICATIONS
We place great emphasis on personal abilities in this recruitment. We are looking for someone who is structured and has the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously and complete the tasks you start within the set deadline. You have the ability to analyze and see different connections. Since you will have many collaborations and contact points in your work, both within the Swedish Board of Agriculture and with other authorities and the industry, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and can work together with others to achieve common goals. You need to be communicative in your work as you will convey information both in writing and verbally in your daily work.
We are looking for someone with an academic education in social or natural sciences. You have a good ability to express yourself in both spoken and written Swedish and English. You have experience working in a government agency and with investigative tasks.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in animal health care.
