Do you want to be part of an engaged organization where you have the opportunity to develop within finance and accounting? We at Gislavedshus are now looking for an accounting economist who, by ensuring stable and efficient financial management, contributes to the company’s ability to manage and develop its property portfolio for the benefit of tenants.
About the position
As an accounting economist with us, you will have a central role in the finance function and be responsible for the company’s ongoing bookkeeping and tax reporting. You will primarily work with:
- Ongoing bookkeeping and verification registration
- Accounts payable, including invoice control and reconciliation of liquid assets
- Tax reporting and tax payments
- Monthly reconciliations as well as interim and annual financial statements
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Liquidity planning and monitoring of payments, including swaps
- Inventory and fixed asset register
- Development of financial processes and routines
You will also act as a backup for the company’s rent administration and handling of staff salaries.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in finance with a focus on accounting, or work experience that the employer considers equivalent
- Experience in similar tasks, preferably within the real estate industry
- Very good knowledge of Excel and financial systems, preferably Akribi/Momentum
- Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of English and additional languages is an advantage.
To thrive in the role, you need to be meticulous, responsible, and have good collaborative skills. You have the ability to work independently, structured, and analytically. You should also have a sense for problem-solving and the ability to prioritize activities based on deadlines.
