Continuous Improvement & Waste Coordinator
About the Role
We are looking for a driven specialist who wants to lead our work in process efficiency, capacity development, and waste optimization. The role involves measuring and analyzing waste on a detailed level to create clear conclusions, drive improvement programs, and reduce raw material usage. You will lead cross-functional projects related to RCA and GAP analyses as well as Kaizen events, develop standardized working methods, and lead improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
You will work closely with the Operations Excellence Manager and the Plant Management team to ensure that improvement work and standards are anchored in every department. You will follow up and contribute to establishing best practices around waste, capacity, and process steps. The role is both operational and strategic – you may be on the factory floor validating machine efficiency one moment and facilitating decisions regarding process confirmations the next. You will educate the organization in RCA methodology and create a culture where continuous improvements are natural.
About You
To successfully take on this role, we believe you have the following:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of RCA methodology and problem-solving
- Experience in leading and initiating process improvements and loss elimination
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills (Swedish & English)
- Team spirit
- Good knowledge of Excel
