About the Assignment

We are looking for a meticulous and quality-conscious laboratory technician for our client Thermo Fisher Scientific, one of the world's leading companies in life sciences. The need arises due to an internal project that involves increased production and manufacturing of several extra batches throughout the year. We are looking for a consultant who can start on April 1st, as introduction and training are important parts of the assignment.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will primarily work with quality control in a laboratory environment and contribute to the daily operations. Your tasks include, among other things:

Performing and evaluating quality controls on products according to applicable instructions and specifications
Participating in and contributing to laboratory and deviation investigations
Carrying out ongoing routines within the organization, such as weekly cleaning of the lab
Ensuring that work is documented correctly and performed according to set requirements and timelines

The assignment as a Laboratory Technician is a consultancy position, starting April 1st and lasting for 6 months, with a possibility of extension. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. As a consultant, you will be employed by Adecco Sweden.

Who Are You?

To succeed in this assignment, we see that you:

Are meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious
Have laboratory experience, either from work or university studies (e.g., chemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, or similar)
Have a good understanding of the importance of delivering on time and following instructions
Are open, communicative, and enjoy collaborating with others
Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Previous experience in quality control or work according to GMP is an advantage but not a requirement.
