Adecco is now seeking a Resource Coordinator for Thermo Fisher Scientific in Uppsala on behalf of our client. This is a consulting assignment for approximately 6 months with short notice, where you will play a central role in supporting and developing staffing within Distribution & Warehouse (D&W) during a period of growth and change.

About the assignment

You will be part of the Distribution & Warehouse team within Logistics Uppsala, ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD). The team consists of over 30 employees and is responsible for inventory management, preparation, and inbound and outbound deliveries of both materials for production and finished products to customers worldwide. The operation is conducted in two shifts, Monday to Friday, with a combination of full-time employees and a flexible resource pool of part-time consultants. The main purpose of the assignment is to support daily operations while contributing to the design and analysis of future staffing and resource needs within D&W.

Your main responsibilities

As a Resource Coordinator, you will work both operationally and strategically:

Staffing & resource planning

• Establish, follow up, and adjust daily and weekly staffing models
• Ensure flexible and cost-effective resource planning
• Support and relieve shift leaders in resource issues
• Plan summer staffing and conduct interviews

Onboarding, training & development

• Be responsible for onboarding new resources (ID cards, IT access, etc.)
• Plan and coordinate internal and external training (forklift, fire safety, quality, etc.)
• Follow up and document competencies and training
• Further develop and actively work with the department's competency matrix
• Conduct PMD/follow-up conversations with part-time consultants

Coordination & collaboration

• Participate in D&W's management team
• Engage in daily tier-board meetings, improvement forums, and Kaizen activities
• Collaborate with other functions and departments
• Participate in cross-functional projects as needed
• Have regular check-in and planning meetings with the consulting provider (every three weeks)

Data, systems & follow-up

• Monitor key performance indicators related to OTIF and CAS
• Create and present reports in Power BI
• Administer and work in various systems such as Planbition, Intelex (EHS), etc.
• Be responsible for ordering and following up on consumables
• Analyze employee engagement surveys and drive actions

The assignment is through us at Adecco with immediate start, expected to last for 6 months. There is a possibility for extension.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a coordinating role with many contact points and who combines structure with a solution-oriented approach.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in resource planning, staffing, or workforce management, preferably within logistics, warehousing, or production
• Good experience in data-driven work and following up on operations with KPIs
• Experience in scheduling and working in a shift organization
• Ability to work both operationally “here and now” and more long-term/strategically
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

Previous experience with Power BI, improvement work (Lean/Kaizen), and working with consulting or staffing solutions is a plus.
