Here you will work closely with both development and production, take responsibility for design from idea to finished solution, and help create products that truly make a difference in everyday life.

About the Position

You will work with product maintenance and drive improvements together with the quality department to develop and ensure the product's functionality and quality. The role involves close collaboration with several contact points both internally and externally, such as the service organization and contract managers.

An important part of the assignment is customized projects where you develop solutions based on specific needs, such as custom drawings. Approximately 60 percent of the role consists of pure mechanical design.

To help you get started in the best way, you will receive a solid introduction and support in getting to know the company, the team, and the products.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or another relevant background

• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical design and product development

• Experience in creating production drawings and technical documentation

• Good knowledge of SolidWorks

• Experience working with PDM systems (e.g., EPDM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and practical experience in hydraulics

• Documented experience in designing cast materials, preferably aluminum and/or stainless steel

• Experience working with production/suppliers

Start: By agreement Location: Uppsala Scope: Full-time, with the possibility to work from home 2 days a week.
