ABOUT THE POSITION
Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is one of the largest electricity producers in Sweden, generating one-sixth of the electricity consumed in Sweden. Here, you who have an interest in electricity and design have a unique opportunity to develop as a detail designer within electrical engineering. This position is aimed at those who see themselves building a career in nuclear power and developing at Forsmark.
You will be part of the Detail Design Electrical Power and Automation group, which is responsible for designing and delivering electrical installation documentation for 400V-400kV and within automation, circuit board solutions, and signal converters for measurement, control, and regulation technology. The group also acts as technical support to the facility on issues within its area of responsibility and is responsible for maintaining high quality in electrical documentation that describes the facility.
In the Electrical Engineering unit, you will work in a team consisting of designers from your own group as well as from other groups. The team is responsible for either facility changes focusing on the development of the electrical system or implementations focusing on maintaining functionality when components are replaced.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Tasks
- Detail design in a team, establish timelines for detail design, and estimate the need for material procurement
- Design, for example, circuit diagrams, connection tables, and layouts for installation documentation
- Provide support to the facility on issues related to the area of operation
- As-built review of installation documentation after commissioning and in connection with final documentation
- Participation in revisions during circuit control
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation
- Is fluent in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as it is required for communication and documentation

The position is security classified, which means that a security screening will be conducted before employment. The security screening includes a background check and security interview in accordance with the Security Protection Act. In addition to the security screening, a drug test will be conducted.
