About the Role

Are you a graduated forest engineer or forest manager, or a land surveyor? Become a key player in Sweden's energy transition - as a land negotiator at Vattenfall Services!

Vattenfall Services is Sweden's leading contracting company in energy and electricity. We build and develop the energy infrastructure of the future for a fossil-free society. You will be part of Forest and Land Middle, which consists of 16 employees. The department is spread across eastern Svealand with a mix of home office and office, we keep in touch through monthly physical meetings and team meetings. There is a high psychological safety in the group, where we are open and available to each other. We often collaborate between our assignments, for example by going out for fieldwork together. A field day in the forest with your colleague is often one of the most rewarding days!

We offer not just a role, but with us on your career journey, you gain access to a safe and well-known employer with an established network. Professional development through your assignments and experienced colleagues, flexibility in working and the opportunity to combine fieldwork with office work. We are a large and secure employer that still feels familiar, where employee safety, well-being, and collaboration are important parts of our corporate culture!

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • An academic education such as forest master, forest manager, land surveyor, or similar
  • Experience in land negotiation and/or project management within forestry projects
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, preferably also English
  • A requirement that you have good computer skills and a B driver's license (day trips within the geography occur frequently in the position, sometimes also with overnight stays)

To succeed in the role of Land Negotiator, you need to have a strong personal drive and a business-oriented mindset where you are motivated by challenges and find satisfaction in achieving set goals. You have a structured working method where clarity and initiative are hallmarks of you as a person. Since you will have contact with many external actors, you see it as motivating to create and nurture relationships. You prefer to do this by being communicative and cooperative.
