Our Operations

The Central Intensive Care Unit (CIVA) is a large department with about 110 employees and operates around the clock. Each year, 850–900 patients with severe failure of life-sustaining functions are cared for here. The average length of stay is short, and most admissions occur acutely at all hours of the day, which means that the work pace can shift quickly.

CIVA is a well-functioning department with good structure and a stable workgroup consisting only of regular staff. We strive to be an attractive workplace with a good working environment. Our facilities are equipped with ergonomic lighting and sound, which has been shown to have a positive effect on both patients and employees.

Your Mission

As a staffing coordinator at CIVA, you will work closely with assistant department heads, the department head, and team leaders.

  • Together with team leaders, you will be responsible for the daily staffing of nurses, nursing assistants, and administrative staff based on the department's needs, patient safety, and work environment.
  • Together with assistant department heads and the department head, you will be responsible for schedule planning in the scheduling tool Medinet and the HR system Heroma.
  • You will be responsible for absence management and incident registration in Heroma.
  • Together with department teachers, you will be responsible for scheduling during the introduction of new employees and for students.
  • You will be responsible for issuing permissions in various systems.
  • Together with assistant department heads and the department head, you will be involved in schedule development.

Your Qualifications

Requirements:

  • At least a three-year high school education
  • Ability to express yourself fluently in spoken and written Swedish
  • Very good computer skills and IT competence
  • Experience of close collaboration in a team

Meritorious:

  • Experience in administrative personnel planning work
  • Documented experience in operational work with staffing issues and personnel management in Heroma or equivalent system support
  • Knowledge of laws and agreements in the area, such as the Working Hours Act and General Regulations

We Offer

A temporary position with a workload of 100% for at least 1 year. Daytime work, Monday – Friday. A probationary period may be applied.
