JOB DESCRIPTION

Tibro Municipality is implementing a targeted initiative with the support of project leaders to increase inclusion for individuals receiving financial assistance. This work is particularly important in light of upcoming legislation regarding activity requirements and obligations. Your mission is to ensure that these individuals start studies or gain employment in the short and long term. You will meet individuals one-on-one but also be active in joint group activities alongside other colleagues at Tibro Competence Center.

As a case officer, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting and advancing participants receiving social assistance and ultimately reducing the number of community members receiving financial aid.
• Planning for, meeting, and guiding participants (primarily) with financial assistance.

All employees at Tibro Competence Center share a common goal in their respective assignments, which is to increase self-sufficiency and create a meaningful everyday life. As an employee, you are therefore an important part of the municipality's work to meet individuals who are outside the labor market and/or need support to transition in their careers.

You will work with individuals in many contexts alongside all colleagues within Tibro Competence Center. This may include youth who are not attending high school, foreign-born individuals who need special language support, people who have been unemployed for a long time, and individuals who have been granted financial assistance. A common thread in your work is the meeting - to see the individual, to meet them where they are, and to support the individual in both work and study directions through various initiatives.

Through close collaboration both within and outside the municipality's operations, you will support the individual towards self-sufficiency. You are a crucial part of the collective effort to plan, implement, and follow up. You contribute to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment, as well as to the development of work methods and initiatives.

The Labor Market Unit is part of Tibro Competence Center, so you will collaborate with all colleagues within the organization. You will participate in meaningful work where you make a difference every day. You will have the opportunity to influence and develop the operations and will work in an engaged team that collaborates both in large and small matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree, such as a behavioral scientist or another education that the employer deems equivalent. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in similar work in the form of leadership or guidance in learning contexts, good knowledge of collaboration partners inside and outside the municipality, experience documenting work-related activities, and familiarity with labor market policy measures.

In our operations, it is important to have a positive view of people. We want to see and support the individual's own resources. You are a person who inspires, creates engagement, and has a focus on the individual. You are structured, flexible, and enjoy working both independently and in close cooperation with others. You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
