Summer Job as Leisure Leader at Furuboda Folk High School

The Furuboda Association runs a folk high school, high school, labor market training, HVB, conference activities, and an assistance company. The operations are conducted at our main facility south of Åhus and at our branches in Kristianstad, Malmö, Lund, and Karlskrona.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to apply for a summer job as a leisure leader at Furuboda Folk High School, Yngsjö. During the summer weeks, Furuboda conducts short course activities in the form of "camp weeks". At Furuboda, you will find an open and accessible environment for everyone, with or without disabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

The tasks are varied.

You will learn to drive our raft on Helge Å, operate a tractor, quad bike, and other vehicles. You are a practical team member who is willing to fix things, repair bicycles, mow grass, etc., and participate as a leader in the courses we conduct. You need to be flexible and able to shift focus between tasks as required. You should also be comfortable leading a group and speaking in front of people.

The tasks are performed independently or together with others.

Time period: 15/6-16/8 2026 (hourly employment as needed, free weeks may occur)

The working hours are irregular with weekdays, evenings, and weekends!

QUALIFICATIONS

Completed and approved high school education. Leisure leader training (completed or ongoing) or equivalent education is an advantage, as well as experience working with people with disabilities.

It is important that you have a good ability to meet people and that you are a positive and engaged person who finds it easy to collaborate with others. Personal suitability is highly valued in the hiring process.
