About the Position

We are now looking for female personal assistants to work as substitutes in a family with two additional children. The work involves night shifts as needed.

As a personal assistant, you will work in the home of the person with disabilities and play a vital role in creating security, structure, and good care. The work is carried out independently and in a calm environment.

About You

We are looking for a woman, preferably with experience in care and support. A background in healthcare is desirable, and experience with epilepsy and tube feeding is an advantage.

You are confident, responsible, and self-reliant, with an understanding of what it means to work in someone's home. Experience working with children is considered a plus.

Job Responsibilities

Your tasks will include providing support and care based on the user's needs, as well as contributing to a safe and calm environment at home. During shifts, you will work alone.

I arrange my assistance through the cooperative SMIL - Cooperation Organization for Malmö Independent Living.

SMIL has been providing personal assistance for children and adults since 1990, and it is SMIL that will be your employer if you are hired as my personal assistant.

SMIL provides personal assistance for residents of Malmö and surrounding areas and is a cooperative without profit motives! SMIL's key words are independence, personal responsibility, and good staff care.

We are an IfA-approved assistance provider, with roots in the movement that once contributed to making personal assistance a possibility in Sweden.
