Childcare Staff Wanted for TUFF Internat
Anpassa Skandinavisk Rehabilitering ABSkåne län, Malmö
Previous experience is desired
At Anpassa, we are looking for childcare staff for our TUFF internat – a temporary assignment lasting two weeks (7 working days) – where you will work with children in a multilingual and sign language environment.
The internat takes place Monday to Friday in week 26 in Höllviken. Introduction will occur over two working days on June 16–17 (week 25) in central Malmö. The total assignment comprises 7 working days.
As childcare staff, you will work with children of varying ages and needs. You will contribute to an inclusive environment where we encourage the use of Swedish sign language. Through fun and engaging activities, we strive to provide each child with a meaningful and developmental experience.
Our TUFF internat is an assignment from SPSM (the Swedish National Agency for Special Needs Education and Schools), where we arrange sign language courses for parents while creating a safe and positive environment for their children. This assignment is part of a larger initiative, and we plan to continue organizing similar internats and courses regularly in the future. With us, you have the opportunity to be part of something that makes a real difference – both for the children and their families.

- Take care of children of varying ages and with different needs, in a multilingual and sign language environment.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment where children can develop according to their own conditions.

- Work with a diverse group of children, some communicating with signs, others with speech or other forms of expression.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who can adapt to the children's needs and create a stimulating environment where they feel safe and engaged. You thrive in a team, are communicative, and interact with both children and colleagues with clarity and empathy. With patience and understanding, you provide children with the security they need to develop at their own pace. You ensure that every child feels seen and involved in the activities, contributing to their well-being and development.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably with disabilities.
- Patience and flexibility in working with children who communicate in various ways, including signs and other forms of expression.

- Experience leading children's groups and planning activities.
- Knowledge of Swedish sign language.
- Pedagogical education or other relevant training/experience that enhances your ability to work with children of different ages and needs.
- Experience working in multilingual and inclusive environments.
What we offer
- Experience working with a fantastic group of children and youth.
- The opportunity to be part of an assignment that has the potential to develop into more recurring opportunities, which means future job prospects.
