About Me

Hello! I am a wonderful 11-year-old boy with lots of energy, a twinkle in my eye, and a big portion of curiosity about life. I love speed and play, but I also need adults around me who help me keep my balance – literally sometimes!

I am now looking for a personal assistant who can be my support in everyday life. Someone who sees me, keeps up with my pace, and at the same time has the calmness to meet me where I am. Some days go fast, others require a little extra patience – but every day brings laughter, fun, and small victories.

I need help with most things in my daily life – from dressing and undressing, meals, and hygiene to understanding and communicating with my surroundings. I use pictures, signs, and my communication pad to express what I want and feel. When I am safe and receive the right support, I can show my best side – and it is really nice!

I attend an adapted primary school and have a schedule that runs well, but I need an adult close to me when I come home from school – and when I am home and free on weekends and holidays. Someone who can read me, support when needed, and who always keeps track so I stay on the right side of safety.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming, cycling, playing, and going on little trips – preferably to playgrounds, zoos, or fun activities where you get to move around. I like books, music, and everything that brings joy and imagination.

Who Are You?

You who are applying are safe, attentive, and patient. You need to have your heart in the right place, a twinkle in your eye, and the ability to be both a playmate and a safe adult. It is important that you can think quickly and remain calm even when things happen unexpectedly. Experience working with children or people with disabilities is an advantage – but above all, I am looking for the right personality. Experience with autism and/or epilepsy is a big plus!

It doesn't matter if you are a guy or a girl, but you are welcome to be in your 20s or 30s! Safe and mature, but with a childlike spirit! Are you a student (the dream is that you are studying to become a speech therapist or special educator and can use TAKK) and want to work a little extra in the evenings and on holidays/weekends, then I think this is perfect for you!

About the Job:

• The work involves both weekdays (16:50-19:30) and holidays and weekends (9:00-15:00 or 13:00-19:00) as agreed.
• You will primarily work in my home and in my local environment, but of course, you will accompany me on outings and activities! I like to take the bus, but if you have a driver's license, that is a big plus.
• You will, of course, receive a proper introduction and support from my family and employer.
