Leisure Educator / Leisure Leader - Temporary Position

We are now looking for a leisure educator/leisure leader who can contribute to the development of our leisure center. The position is a temporary role until June 2026, at 90%, starting as soon as possible.

About the Position

You will work to stimulate students' learning and development based on their needs, interests, and experiences, while also challenging them by inspiring new knowledge.

You are responsible for ensuring that students are offered a variety of methods, forms of expression, and learning environments. Together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the leisure activities.

You have a positive view of students and want every student to succeed. As a person, you are calm and place great importance on building good relationships. You have a well-developed ability to collaborate and can lead yourself in your role. Furthermore, you possess good empathetic and pedagogical skills that allow you to see how each student can best be supported in their development. We appreciate curiosity and the ability to see opportunities rather than obstacles when it comes to meeting students' ideas, thoughts, and experiences.

You must find it fun, stimulating, and exciting to work in leisure and provide every student the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for a licensed leisure educator/leisure leader with a focus on working in leisure centers. You are well acquainted with the curriculum and other governing documents within the school sector, and you have a good ability to work towards set goals to improve the quality of the leisure center.

You are curious, creative, and can inspire and motivate your colleagues in the team. Your IT skills are good, and you work with interactive tools and documentation as a natural part of teaching. Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form, is required for the position. As a person, you are secure and stable and skilled at building good relationships with both students and colleagues as well as guardians. You communicate clearly and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to embrace new knowledge.
