About the Group Home

Our group home has six apartments and is aimed at adults who belong to group 1 according to LSS. The operation is individualized and based on clear structure, predictability, and pedagogical support in everyday life. The goal is to create meaningful and developing days where each individual is given the opportunity to strengthen their independence and participation based on their own conditions. In everyday life, the work involves being a close support in the user's daily life. This can involve helping with morning routines, meals, activities, shopping, structuring the day, and providing social and pedagogical support in both calm and more challenging situations. The work takes place in small contexts with time for relationships, predictability, and continuity.

The operation is located in Baggetorp, just under 10 minutes from Katrineholm by car. We are primarily looking for someone who lives in the nearby municipalities and wants to work locally in a smaller, cohesive operation where continuity, cooperation, and relationships are an important part of the quality of support.

About the Role of Support Assistant

As a support assistant in our group home, you work closely with the users in their daily lives. You are secure and clear, creating structure, motivating, and adapting support based on the individual's needs, daily condition, and development.

The role is varied and responsible and involves active participation in planning, implementation, and follow-up of the pedagogical work. In the operation, we sometimes encounter individuals with outwardly aggressive behavior, which requires you to be calm, secure, and professional in your response. The work is carried out with the support of low-arousal and preventive approaches, clear routines, and close cooperation with colleagues and managers.

Examples of tasks:

• Provide pedagogical and individualized support in daily activities

• Create and maintain structure, routines, and clarity

• Strengthen the individual's independence, participation, and motivation

• Document according to applicable routines and legislation

• Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and if necessary, relatives or other actors

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience working in LSS operations with adults in group 1

• Trained nursing assistant or equivalent relevant education

• Driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle

• Good Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Trained support pedagogue

• Experience with pedagogical tools, methods, or approaches

• Experience working with outwardly aggressive behaviors

• Familiarity with documentation in operational systems

Employment Type

Permanent employment (six months probationary period applies).

Working hours: Rolling schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts as well as sleeping night shifts.

Employment rate: approx. 90%.

Salary and agreement: Individual salary according to agreement, other compensations according to collective agreement.

Start date: According to agreement.
